2008-2009 Season
Welcome to the Washington Girls Chorus 2008-2009 Season. Founded in 2007 by Caroline Holtz and Jonathan Willen, the Washington Girls Chorus is dedicated to empowering young women ages 8-17 through achieving excellence in choral music.
In Season One we were able to “Sing to the Moon” and “Unleash A Thousand Whispers.” These inaugural concerts laid the foundation for the organization to grow by leaps and bounds. This season we are pleased to have 25 additional voices joining the chorus, now 55 strong and representing 13 schools throughout Washington, Maryland and Virginia.
We invite those of you who are new to our family to join us for our holiday and spring concerts. We welcome and encourage those who have already experienced the magic of the chorus to continue to support our mission.
